"Okay okay, I'll tell you," shrieked Angel, the edge of Alex's mum, Gemma's, invisible knife pressed against her throat.
"Don't play games with me, Angel," said Gemma. "The last time you said you'd tell me, you said nothing."
"I'll tell you this time."
"I've got a better idea."
Gemma moved Angel to a spot opposite her son, Alfred, and locked her there using a charm her Grandmother taught her. Then she grabbed Alfred and wrapped her left hand around his throat.
"What do you know about the Renegades, Angel? What do they want?"
Angel gasped but said nothing.
"Who are you more afraid of than me?"
But Angel responded, "You.... can't kill.... my already dead son.... can you?"

The Sweglords were walking to the Lotus Oasis.
"Great. Look who's here," said Henry's father, Caleb.
"Nice fishing rod," said Madelyn.
What does he want now? thought Caleb.
"Yeah, that is a nice fishing rod," said Kristen.
Henry couldn't stop smiling.
"Yeah," he said.
"Was that a 'yeah' to the fishing rod or a 'yeah' to the man?" said Kristen.
"So you heard about the incident?" said Henry.
"Oh yes. Madelyn and I overheard Paris and Caleb arguing about it last night. You're in a lot of trouble, Henry."
"Uh-huh," Henry knew that already.
"Just ignore him," said Caleb.
But Alex set the fishing rod aside, and came over to the group.
"My friends," said Alex.
Maddy groaned, mainly because of the heat and Kristen scratched her head.
"Where did you come up with that assumption?" she said.
Henry was having a really hard time not smiling and it had just become harder when he noticed Alex's eyes lingering on him.
"And what does your Grace want now?" said Caleb.
"I wish to escort you to the Lotus Oasis." He was still looking at Henry.
"It might be a good idea to have someone show us the way, dad," said Henry.
"Alright," snapped his father. "You may show us the way, your Grace."
"And Henry's staying at the back with us," said Kristen.
Henry didn't care. By the look on Alex's face, it was clear he hadn't given up on him. Maybe he had a plan?
"Okay, Caleb. You're ready to let me lead the way, hmm?"
"Just get on with it."
"It's the second cactus to the right and straight ahead till the next dust storm."
"Just show us the way, Alex, unless you wish to revolutionise fashion with your new cactus clothes."
