ALEX IN THE TWILIGHT Directed by Cathy Herd 2068 LUKA: I have something for you. (ALEX Looks broodingly into the camera) LUKA: It's a piece of advice... ALEX: Do tell. LUKA: I think you should choose me over Henry. I have loved you longer than he has and I will love you for eternity. You have been the best part of my life, Alex, since the moment we played together in my parents' paddling pool when we were two. (ALEX Stares off into the distance) LUKA: Alex? (LUKA and ALEX passionately kiss. Someone is watching them). LUKA: I was not expecting that. ALEX: Neither was I. PARIS: Oh Alex. When are you going to realise we were made for each other? It says so in the personality type compatibility test. Alex In The Twilight was a highly successful film based on the book by Steph Moires, a history student at the University of Windenburg. She was recorded saying that the story 'came to her in a dream.' She claimed the dream had been inspired by a discussion in class that day about the mystery of Luka and Alex's encounter and what Luka could have given Alex, if the meeting had even occurred at all. Moires had a dream that night about Alex and Luka embracing and she decided to write a story about her theory of them being lovers. Some historians have played with the idea of Paris possibly having a 'thing' for Alex, but there is no evidence to support this theory, other than Paris wishing to marry Alex to protect his family. However, Moires, for the case of her romance, decided to make Paris a lover too, kickstarting the love quadrangle trend during the 2060s and 2070s. THE HISTORY OF ALEXANDER OF SIMSLAND Sims History 2090 PARKER: Behind me is the Brindleton Bay park that is believed to be the place that Paris Hellewell was drawing on when describing Luka and Alex's meeting in his book, Alexander The Not So Great. Even in 2090, historians and archeologists were trying to debunk the mystery around Alex and Luka's encounter. The closest they came was in 2089 when a team of historians discovered a match between a park in Brindelton Bay, Simsland, and Paris's description of the setting in the meeting. THE KING WHO WAS NOT AFRAID JULIE PICKLES 2075 Julie Pickles' children's book won several awards, including the award named after herself, the Cozy Pickles Prize for being the most inspirational book of the year. Just like many artists before her, she had chosen to explore the strange meeting between Luka and Alex in one of her works. However, she had also chosen to replace Luka with the Grim Reaper to propose a theory that Luka and Grim are the same person. In an interview with the Grim Reaper at a literary convention in Windenburg Square in 2080, Grim confirmed that he and Luka are indeed two different people and he had the birth certificate to prove it. The mystery of Alex and Luka and a possible meeting has been one of the most written about in fiction and historical works on Alexander, King of Simsland. PARKER: King Alexander in general has been a popular topic for decades. What drove him to become Simsland's most ambitious king and what caused him to lose everything in his final year? HENRY AND THE KING OF SIMSLAND MARY LONDON 2091 Henry and The King of Simsland is a novel by Mary London written in 2091, a year after the documentary about Alexander of Simsland, which sparked the world's imagination. It was the first novel that was written from the point of view of the king's lover, Henry Haru Fyres. "It's obvious isn't it?" says London at the Simsland Book Awards. "We've been over-looking Henry for decades and I believe he is the missing key to this puzzle." London is referring to the questions that historians have been asking around Alexander's decline in his final year as king. She also speculated in her novel whether the meeting between Luka and Alex was actually about Henry. "Why else would it be set in Autumn?" she says on the Good Morning news show, confusing many viewers. London was well-known for making random statements without any explanation. However, Mary London's novel sparked a century of research into Henry. Who was he really? And why did the king love him so much? Hi everyone, just a big thanks to Candycottonchu for creating cc Alex and Paris. They looked so good, I couldn't resist featuring them in a chapter. Comments are closed.
