Talula was very happy. She had her daughter here; her granddaughter here. All she needed were her handsome husband and son and she'd be one happy witch. "Oak," said Gemma, "why did Grim feel the need to plant you in Alex's dream?" Her grandmother interjected: "So how did the filming go, Oak?" said Talula. "Yeah, great. Thanks," Oak replied. "I'm just going to check on the prisoners," said Gemma. "See you later." Gemma disappeared int the darkness. "So," said Talula. "What exactly did you have to say to your grandson?" "That's confidential information." "Oh come on. I'll promise I won't tell anyone," said Talula. "I thought we're over using me as a traitor," said Oak. "We are," said her mother, "and I promise I will never ever use you like that again." The Red Velvet Lounge, Moonlight Falls, 2031 "Wow! Houston, is that The Grandmaster's niece?" cried Cas's triplet, Adelyn. "One of them, I think," said Cas's other triplet, Houston. "Wow! The Hellewells really do have strong genes," said Adelyn. "Yeah," Houston replied. "It's not that interesting sis." "Adelyn!" called Adrian. Adelyn turned round and approached Adrian. "Hello Adrian," said Adelyn. "Heard the plane arrived early?" "Yeah. We caught an earlier plane though too. Lucky thing we did because I've been meaning to get a closer look at our enemy." "A shame you didn't go to Oracle High school. You'd see them everyday then." Adelyn laughed. "They look so confident too, mingling among us." "Yes," said Adrian. "We're settling our differences for one night." "Ah I'm fine with it, Adrian," said Adelyn. "It's just," she peered over Adrian's shoulder at Madelyn. "I never thought a killer looked like that." "You've seen Sweglords before, Adelyn," said Adrian. "They've been on the news, and obviously your mum, Toni, works for the Grandmaster." "Yes, but I've never seen that one." Adelyn nodded at Madelyn. "Now she doesn't seem like a killer to me." "Okay," said Adrian. "But what I really need to talk about is what our parents are here to discuss and why we're not invited?" "They're having the meeting right now, with the Sweglords," said Adelyn. "Yes," said Adrian, "but why must we be left out of it?" "Because we're not the bosses," Adelyn replied. "We'll know of their plan soon." "Yes, but what about the king's plans? I've noticed he hasn't left the V.I.P." "Eh, his funeral," said Adelyn. "I'm sure he was invited to attend." "One bowl of chips please," said Madelyn to the bartender. Anita and Luka were having a quiet chat near by. "So," said Anita. "You're going to spill the beans about Grim?" "You know I can't, Anita," said Luka. "Dad will literally kill me, with a big stress on the literally." "So?" "So? Oh come on. I broke up with you two years ago and now you don't care if I live or die?" "Uh-huh," said Anita, sarcastically and she took a sip of her lemonade. "You know I didn't mean it like that. What you have spoken to me about Grim is really serious. The Evil Geniuses... no... Alex needs to know about this." "Why, exactly?" "So he knows he has to lose." "Anita," said Luka. "If the Sweglords win, there might be an apocalypse." "So Grim says," said Anita and she took another sip of her drink. Madelyn walked past, holding a bowl of chips. She had her eye on them, so Luka left. What is Grim trying to achieve? Anita wondered. Caleb and Edith were in a V.I.P room where they and some of the Evil Geniuses and H.E.S had earlier been meeting. "Where was Alex?" said Edith. "Don't know, but I'm pretty sure he's going to like our plan of action, to fight at the abandoned market in Al Simhara." "I don't like this at all Caleb. If Alex is absent, it's always a bad sign." Paris appeared and she had her head in her hands. "I've found Alex," she said. "And?" said Edith. "I've found your son too, Caleb." "What in the world is this?" said Caleb. The two lovers fell apart in shock and Henry, as soon as he noticed his father, burst into loud sobs. "You stay away from my son. You hear me?" "Mr Hellewell," said Alex, "I have an offer to make." "I don't care about your offer. I don't care about this peace you're offering. You're not having my son. You hear me? And you!" Caleb lifted his finger at Henry. "You're banished from the Sweglords and you're banished from my life." Henry followed him outside the lounge. "Dad, you need to let me back into the Sweglords." "I wash my hands of you, Henry. Now get out of my sight." Back inside, a member of the H.E.S had pinned Edith to the ground. "Murderer." Poses by Joannebernice Comments are closed.
