San Myshuno, 2036
Since Grim had left the apartment, Siobhan had been feeling she had to do something. Not least, she needed to warn the King of Simsland about the Sweaty Shivers pandemic and what Grim had planned.
But how was she going to make it to Simsland when she was already infected? She couldn't.
"It's useless killing yourself now," said Gemma.
"Gemma?" cried Siobhan. "But you're dead."
"And so are you," said Gemma. "Grim, who we have in captivity, told me to collect you."
"Oh," said Siobhan.
"Please," she said. "I have to get a message to the king."
"I know," said Gemma. "Angel, your niece, told me. I've been looking for you for a while."
Gemma's memory slipped back to the interrogation and Angel's warning.
"Why don't you write the king a letter?" Gemma suggested.
Sweaty Shivers had hit Windenburg hard, with thousands of Simslanders falling ill within days. Almost every Sim had lost a loved one, even Alex and Henry.
Kristen Hellewell, Henry's cousin
Dr Alivia O'Donnell, Adrian's mother who had been working towards finding a cure for Sweaty Shivers
Elliot Jack, a good friend of the king's

Alex stared at his sleeping cousin, McKenzie. She had fallen ill last night, and the doctor, knowing there was nothing he could do, insisted she take to her bed, in an attempt to sleep the Sweaty Shivers off.
It's amazing how a deadly illness can alter your perception of a person. He had thought of McKenzie merely as the annoying daughter of his aunt Charlize, and someone he was forced to give houseroom to in his castle. Now, he was terribly afraid she would die. He was surprised to realise he didn't want that. He would miss her.
He already missed her anxious face in the morning. Her small footsteps around the house. Her apologetic eyes.
She was the only person left who understood what Alex had been through growing up in the Royal family. It struck him suddenly that in her unobstrusive way she had been his friend.
"Don't leave me," said Alex. "I don't want to be alone."
McKenzie started coughing.
"Forgive," she managed to spurt out.
Alex didn't say anything. He had been working on forgiveness with his counsellor since he was 17 and although there had been some improvement, forgiving the Royal family was still in the 'too hard' basket.
"How?" said Alex.
"Forgive," said McKenzie again, and she fell back to sleep.

"So how's things... with your health?" asked Henry's father, Jonathon.
"Good, papa," said Henry. "Been put on some new anxiety meds though."
"Are they any good?"
"Dunno. Only just started them."
There was an awkward pause. Both really wanted to talk about the recent family deaths, especially Kristen, but neither knew how to broach the subject.
"Gema said her first swear word the other day."
"Oh really," said Jonathon. "What did she say?"
"For Watcher's Sake!" giggled Henry.
"What? You call that swearing?"
"Okay," said Henry. "She said something worse, but I don't want to be caught on camera saying it."
Henry was aware that although he could not always see the paparazzi, it didn't mean they were not there.
"How are things going with you and Alex?" said Jonathon.
"Uhm," said Henry. He did not actually know where to begin. The deaths of Dr O'Donnell and Elliot, and now his cousin, McKenzie, falling ill had caused Alex to have a breakdown, which meant the pressure of the kingdom lay more heavily on Henry's shoulders.
"Oh dear. Tell me everything," said Jonathon.
Henry let his emotions go. It felt relieving, like his stress and worries were washing out of his system. But it was only temporary. He knew he had to return to his duties once he got home.
"I can't do this, papa," said Henry.
"It's okay to be scared," said his papa. "But if there's something I've learnt about you these past few years is you never cease to amaze. You'll be okay Henry, but call me if things get too difficult."
"Okay," said Henry.
The Grandmaster's Mansion, Forgotten Hollow, 2036
Paris looked around her halls. This was it. Her last day in this mansion. She had received a death threat from Vampires Anonymous, who had accused her of working with Grim in the plot to spread the Sweaty Shivers throughout Simsland. Not having been able to explain herself, she had decided to flee instead.
"Lilith?" cried Paris.
"I came to say goodbye!" she said.
Paris hugged her.
"Thank you," she said.
"Lilith," Paris laughed nervously, "I would like you to take over my position as Grandmaster when I'm gone."
"Paris," groaned Lilith. "I can't simply take over your position. I'd have to kill you first.... Or I could marry you, then we'd share the power."
"Which would you rather do?" asked Paris. She appeared to be genuinely concerned.
"Which do you think I'd rather do?" said Lilith.
"I... don't know," said Paris. "Which is why I asked you."
Is she really serious? 4 years of flirting and she still doesn't have a clue?
So Lilith kissed her for the first time.
